As part of Lloyd Browns criminal sentence, the court imposed financial obligations, but deferred interest on those obligations for five years from the date of judgment. The State appeals, arguing that RCW 10.82.090 mandates the imposition of interest, which the trial court is powerless to waive or defer. We agree and reverse the order to defer interest.
